BEING DISABLED MEANS DOING THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENT
BEING DISABLED MEANS DOING THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENT
Corporate Harley Davidson has made it impossible for single family owned Harley dealerships to stay in business with retail, forcing the smaller dealerships to close their doors. One of the first to go here in Colorado was Rocky Mountain Harley, closing their doors February 28th, 2022. The sad part is these smaller dealerships see their customers as family, not dollar signs. That is how Rocky Mountain Harley treated their customers, like family. See my Riding With Disabilities section for the story of finding my bike when I decided to ride in my wheelchair. This is a sad day for the Harley community and those who believe in the Harley family.
I don't normally put anything to do with politics and such on my website but this needs to be said. First, I have a lot of respect for the citizens of Ukraine, the soldiers, and all who are standing up for their freedom, bikers know what freedom truly means and this is a tragedy. At the same time I have a lot of respect for the Russian people who are standing up to their leader and protesting Putin's actions. Demonstrations are against the law in Russia so those that do are showing a lot of class by doing so. Everyone knows how wrong this is and Putin has his own agenda. We are sending our prayers to all those that are suffering through all this because of some crazy monster this world could do without.
Congratulations to all who represented the United States in the 2022 Paralympics, to all the medal winners and team USA Sled Hockey on their 4th gold medal in a row, beating Canada in the finals 5-0!
